Total carbohydrate is defined differently in the Australian database, compared to the ESHA database, so this data should not be combined into one carbohydrate field.

This would only be a problem if you plan to use the Australian database and the ESHA database together. If you only wish to use the Australian database by itself, then the carbohydrate field would only reflect the Australian values.
